I've had this truck since December, and the electronics act worse in the cold. Countless times this winter have I woke up to my rear tail gate wide open, often with water, snow, or even street garbage that flew into my vehicle from the back. Extremely annoying, not even financing this car this is a lease and I'm most likely going to have to pay to get it fully cleaned in the back and the seats.
Dealer told me to replace remotes, replace battery. I did and of course that came out of pocket, not out of warranty. He checked the wiring and said it's fine, "sometimes happens in the cold" - well it's been warming up and it's still continuing to happen.
I'm scared one day the back tail gate is going to open on the road or freeway and all of my stuff, or even my animals go flying out. Fix this!
