We have 2006 Impala LT, have replaced left front hub/wheel bearings twice in last year. Also recently replaced right front hub/ wheel bearings. Now fighting with traction control, hard hitting trans, engine light coming on and when taken in to check, of course all lights go off and all checks out fine.
Now driver side heater won't work and when turn on AC or heat, there is a horribly loud tic, tic tic that lasts for a few minutes. I had a 2001 Impala before and never had any problems. I am Sooo sorry that I traded for this one when I did. I am 60 years old and have taken good care of this car. When I've taken for oil changes, or services, I'm told how well taken care of this car is and all checks out great. What the heck!!! These repairs are not cheap! What else is about to go wrong?
I have always tried to buy American made even though it is not cheap. I am now on a fixed budget and feel as if this car is nickle and diming me.
