The 2006 Chevy IMPALA ss was purchased new off the show room floor one of the first ss in my city. I started have issues within the first year with a cracking noise from the chassis or frame which ever. The dealer never found the issue after many visits average of 15 to 30 times. The matter got annoying so I sued and got 15 thousand back cash. Never fails the Glass of the 2006 started to scratch from going up and down. The dealer then billed the insurance and changed the glass. I still own the car that has the same issues with the scratches appearing again. They never tried to help once the car was paid off .
