- Summary
- This Preliminary Information communication provides information to the technician about the wireless charging module has been placed on restriction through the General Motors Technical Assistance Center. Dealer will need to call General Motors Technical Assistance Center for further assistance. Customer may state that the phone does not charge, charges slow, moves out of charging spot, or charges intermittently. Technician will need to gather information from the customer. The information needed make, model, and wireless charging back cover model. Does customer currently uses wireless charging at home and /or office, if so what brand. Is the phone Bluetooth paired to the vehicle? Does customer run applications from the phone? If it is a ATS or CTS customer are they aware of the vehicle?s Heater-Vent-Air Conditioning cooling the phone when it is ON it extends time phone will charge. Also is the cover being used from the phone provider? When the technician calls General Motors Technical Assistance Center select the Electrical prompt.
