Dodge has a really iffy way to setup the backlash on there 2003 , 2500 ram.Not sure about it but it seems to be working and doesn't leak after I replaced the seal.NOTE:The lock nut torque washer deal is nuts..

Ram 2500 VAN 5.2L V8

  • Automatic transmission
  • 84,500 miles

Driving on a busy Houston Highway and boom the truck shuts-off. I lost all power had no chance to get out of traffic. Have the truck towed to a local Dodge dealer. The dealer tells me to leave the truck and they would take care of it. The dealer calls the next day and tells me it's the PCM computer. I said OK lets get it fixed ASAP. Well ASAP did not mean anything. The truck was at the dealer for 3 days. I get a call from the dealer and he tells me the part for my Van is no longer available. (WHAT?) It's a 2003 Van that I use for work. (Now Im screwed!) So I call around and another Non Dodge repair center said they could install a rebuilt PCM. So I pay for another tow to this guy. OK for 1300.00 bucks I got my truck back. So after a week with no work truck I decided I would never buy a dodge product again.
