CarComplaints.com Notes: The 2013 Edge has its fair share of problems, but chief among them is an annoying “door ajar” warning light that won’t shut off even when the door is most definitely closed. While the retina-burning, ever-present false reminder on your dashboard is bad, it points to a deeper problem that can drain the battery, leave the doors unlocked while in motion, or render the key fob useless.

3 months after purchasing my Ford Edge, the sunroof stoped working. It was one of my must haves. I called the dealer I purchased it from and because I was out of state on bussness they told me to come in when I get back, which was going to be in about 2 1/2 months. Upon my arrival home, I took my 13 Edge to the dealer I purchased it from, only to have them tell me it was passed the allotted milage on a the car. I explained my previous phone conversation to the gentleman and all he said was “ sorry that is fords policy”. At no time during my first conversation, after mentioning it would be a couple months before I return home, was there a mention of milage restriction on covering the sunroof! Nor did they suggest I take it a dealership near me. VERY POOR CUSTERMER SERVICE on the part of the Ford representative. They did however tell me the could fix it for about $2500-3000......
