CarComplaints.com Notes: The top problem trend for the 2014 Escape is transmission failure at around 70k miles.

This is relatively low mileage for an expensive transmission failure ($4,500 average to fix), but unless the trend becomes more established, we are only awarding the 2014 Escape our "Beware of the Clunker" badge for now.

My front right turn signal was not working. Thought it was a simple fix, but could not change the bulb because I had to remove the shroud around the right wheel well. Took it to FORD DEALER told me they would have to replace entire part costing 300 dollars. To just replace a bulb holder. Am trying to fing one on line. Never will I buy another Ford. Also told friend had the same trouble with his Toyota just to change the bulb,
