If you have a Ford you probably ran into Ball joint Issues. I have owned many Fords and this is such a rampant expensive and dangerous issue that Ford should have issued a recall years ago. Their non-serviceable ball joints are absolute junk and do not last. Replace with a serviceable ball joint that you can actually lubricate.
