PE00 020; consumer took his vehicle to dealership, and mechanic noticed that tire tread was showing on the tires. Firestone, wilderness #at, P235/75R15 there were no injuries, #dot vdhl.
Consumer stated that had inspect the tires after the recall came out and found on the tires cracks that could lead to a tread separation. Firestone Wilderness AT P235/75R15 but not the same manufacturer
PE00 020; consumer was traveling about 70mph on highway and noticed a shaking inside of vehicle. She was washing vehicle and noticed that all four of tires' tread was bald. Firestone, wilderness #at, P23575R15. Consumer said that she would contact Firestone.

Just brought vehicle 9/6/00. One went flat & was plugged & placed back on vehicle. No guaranteed issued on tire for recall & it was recalled. Mechanic took tire off & replaced it. Other 3 tires not on recall. Took vehicle to diagnostic store & had them inspected. All 3 tires had cracks. The location of the cracks was by the tread on the casings. Tires not replaced. Firestone Wilderness AT P235/75R15 with 73,000 miles on it.
PE00 020; consumer noticed that all four tires has stress marks and cracking on the top of tires. Consumer stated that she went to Firestone, and the attendant told her that vehicle wasn't included in recall due to VIN. The consumer had the tires inspected and was told that the tires has cracks like other Firestone tires.
PE00 020 ; front passenger tire went flat. Then, a couple of months later the rear passenger tire went flat. She contacted Firestone, and they told her that he rvehicle was under recall due to VIN. The tire was Firestone P23570R15.
PE00 020; consumer was checking tires and noticed that there was a defect in all four tires. There were stress marks and cracks going all around the tires. Tires were Firestone wilderness #at P23575R15 #dot wthlipy407. There were no injuries. He replace them with Goodyear tires. Firestone Wilderness AT P235/75/R15
While driving about 30 mph right rear tire had a blowout. Tire had a hole on the outside wall. Firestone, Wilderness AT, P235/75R15. The tires were not damaged and were not deflated.
Prior to announced recall this summer, the tires were making noise like 18 wheelers do prior to losing their tread. I took it to my local Firestone dealer and they inspected the tires and said they were ok. However, I have had the tires rotated and rebalanaced and they stilll make the noise. PE00 020; consumer was traveling about 35mph on the highway and steering wheel was shaking. He pulled over to the shoulder, and the left front tire had bubbles. Also, right passenger's side tire tread separated and ha a hole. Consumer has contacted Firestone. Firestone wilderness #at, tire size P23570R15.
While driving approximately 30-40mph due to rain. Suddenly vehicle went across highway lanes & then flipped over. Left front & rear tires had blownout completely. This had caused driver to lose control. Towed to body shop. Was repaired. Had the two tires on the left side replaced. The tires were shredded. Do not have the tires. Original equipment on a 1998, Ford, Explorer, P255/70R16 size. Tread on all four tires had started to crack all the way around. The entire circumference of all four tires has cracks.
After hearing information about the tread separation consumer decided to inspect tires. Found out that tires had cracks and tread separation. Firestone, wilderness, P235/75 R15, dot vn.
PE00020; tire tread separation. All fours tire have cracks all the way around the sidewall. Tire size P23575R15, dot # W2hlipy228. Original tire equipment with 38,000 miles. Owner replaced all four tires with Michelin tires.
