This data is from the NHTSA — the US gov't agency tasked with vehicle safety. Complaints are spread across multiple & redundant categories, & are not organized by problem.
So how do you find out what problems are occurring? For this NHTSA complaint data, the only way is to read through the comments below. Any duplicates or errors? It's not us.
The air bag sensors for side air bag was missing. This caused frontal airbags not work like they should. The air bag light indicator on instrument panel came on. Had taken to dealer & informed by mechanic the cause of problem could not be located.
This vehicle was hit in the rear end by another vehicle at about 30 mph. Upon impact, air bags did not deploy, also the front drivers seat collapsed, when welds holding seat frame failed, throwing the driver foward into the steering wheel, then falling backward. Dealer has been contacted.
Air bag light keeps coming on while driving. Have taken to dealer at 5 different times for repair. Each time mechanic repaired it, 2 months later, the air bag light came on again.
