I bought the vehicle from Razzari Ford in Merced CA and it had 17,000 miles on it and had some of the warranty remaining. They never disclosed that the vehicle leaked water in the rear when it rains. The car has been serviced by the dealership in Monterey CA Cypress Coast Ford for oil changes and recalls. I have owned the car for 22 months and I paid cash for it. We have been in a drought for most of this time and now with the first substancial rain, the car started to reek of mold. My husband removed the spare tire and found 3 inches of water in the wheel well.We cleaned everything and he found cracks in the hatchback on both side and caulked them up , but the car contined to leak. I called the 800 number for Ford and they issued a case number 3/11/16 and told me to bring it to the dealership for a diognosis which I did and they complained alot and kept the vehicle overnight and after I told them the vehicles were online stating the roof racks seams have cracks...they determined that "Water was leaking in through upper RR body seam". I was told the person who could help me was on vacation till Monday..and he would get back to me...I waited till thursday of the next week and I called him Tom King service manager of Cypress Coast Ford..he acted like he didn't know anything about it..I gave him the case # and the reference# given to me by Ford's 800 number. He really showed no interest, but said he'd look into it with his person for Ford in Florida..He got back to me in a matter of minutes and reported that Razzari sold me a car that was not "certified pre-owned vehicle".I don't get that. How could they sell me a vehicle still under warranty with their name as the registered owner???

Anyway, Tom said"Ford is not gonna do anything for you, however, I have some funds in our account for people like you, and I can off you 47% off the repair of $1900.00" "To replace that carpet we have to remove the seats and seat belts" yadda yadda yadda...Ford needs to step up..this car came off the assembly line with defects and it takes time especially in drought stricken California for these defects to show up...I hate Ford and I will never buy another one..I have no use or the dealerships I have demonstrated I was going to be a good customer and use the dealership for service but not anymore..they do not help the customers..47% of the repair is not acceptable to me and I will nevr spend another dime with them..Razzai ford is not to be trusted..I believe they knew the car had problems, there was evidence of a poor caulking repair and they didn't disclose it. Ford is not to be trusted..especially the DEALERSHIPS..MOST ESPECIALLY RAZZARI FORD IN MERCED CA

MY DRIVER'S SIDE MOLDING THAT CURVES FROM THE REAR WINDOW TO THE BACK OF THE CAR HAS BEGUN TO CRACK. MY PASSENGER SIDE STARTED TO CRACK LAST YEAR, SO WHEN I TOOK MY SUV IN FOR SERVICE I SHOWED THE SERVICE TECHNICIAN BOTH SIDES. THE CRACKS ARE IN THE SAME LOCATION ON BOTH SIDES AND WAS TOLD TRIM WAS NOT COVERED UNDER THE EXTENDED WARRANTY. I DO NOT UNDERSTAND WHY SOMETHING THAT IS NOT MY FAULT, IS NOT FROM NORMAL WEAR AND TEAR I HAVE TO PAY TO REPLACE.
