Explorer ST

The undercarriage of 2021 Explorer ST was at two different dealerships for same rattle noises. Freehold Ford had vehicle for 1 week and returned vehicle reporting that many things underneath the vehicle were tightened up such as rivets etc. A few miles later and the noises returned during flat well paved roadways and is clearly heard.

The rear of the vehicle underneath has a rattle that exists as well.

Explorer ST 3.0L V6

  • Automatic transmission
  • 2,000 miles

The vehicle rattles worse than my last explorer but yet this one cost a lot more. I have no clue where the rattle is coming from, but its located at the trunk area of the vehicle and happens after every bump I take. And since I live in Detroit the roads are awful and I hear nothing but rattling.
