While driving about 30 mph and rear ended another vehicle that stopped in front and air bags deployed. Consumer complained before incident to Ford about an open spot on steering wheel where consumer felt fire was coming from, that spot was where air bags deployed.
Consumer was involved in a head-on collision while traveling at approximately 15 to 20 mph. Upon impact, airbags failed to deploy. Consumer states the engine pushed into the firewalls and airbags should have deployed, Ford is stating this is not their problem, one person was injured in accident.
While vehicle was parked outside of a restaurant consumer came out and found out that air bags had deployed. Did not know what could had caused air bag to deployment without a crash to hit vehicle.
While trying to make a left turn about 2 mph drove over curve and air bags deployed without a prior warning. The consumer was blinded by the sun and the right front tire nicked the curve causing the air bag to deploy.
Vehicle was entering a parking space in a parking garage when it, without prior warning, jumped out of gear and ran into a wall. Both airbags did not deploy, and there was frontal damage.

While traveling at 45 a truck pulled in front of consumer's vehicle, and consumer hit the truck. Upon impact, none of airbags deployed. The wire harness, motor mount, front and rear wheel bearings had failed and were replaced.
While driving 50 mph fell asleep, hit a guardrail and slid 5 miles, and then rear ended another vehicle which kept going. Crashed, and passenger's side was mashed in 3-4 inches. No injuries except bruises. Upon impact, neither air bag deployed.
Front air bag did deploy when another vehicle coasted back and bumped front bumper of consumer's vehicle. Their was no physical damage to vehicle. Dealer has been contacted.
Vehicle was stopped in traffic, and was rearended by another vehicle at about 40-50mph. Both airbags deployed. However, driver's airbag spilled chemicals on driver's hand and up to elbow. Driver received chemical burns.
While driving on highway 65-75mph consumer had a collision. Fuel shut off valve did not go off, and air bag did not deploy. Received recall after collision. Please provide VIN and additional information.
A truck turned in front of consumer who hit the truck in the right front tire area, the seatbelt strap failed, it extended instead of holding consumer in place, the locking mechanism also pulled out from the catch, the airbags did not deploy until after the consumer's chin hit the steering wheel, consumer was injured in accident, vehicle has $6000 worth of damage.
Consumer was traveling on highway approaching a stop light, went to apply brakes, and airbags went off and exploded, causing windshield to explode.. there were no injuries. Airbag light came on two days after we purchased the vehicle. Vehicle was serviced on July 7th, 2000.
While driving at 55 mph, this vehicle struck another vehicle, and was hit from behind by a different vehicle. Upon impact, driver's and passenger's air bags did not deploy. Dealer has not been contacted.
When trying to aviod a crash with another vehicle, vehicle crashed into a fence post head-on, and there was no deployment of frontal air bags. Front end of vehicle was smashed back to radiator.
Vehicle was involved in a frontal collision at 10 mph, and airbags did deploy. According to Ford representative, airbags are designed to deploy at greater than 14 mph.
