Blue Bullet! I love this car, it's sporty, it's stylish, it's had quite a life, too.
I was hanging with a few friends a few nights before posting this, and when I pulled out of their driveway to leave, the car was fine. I had to stop for gas about a mile or two away, and when I restarted the Focus, pulled out of the station, and floored it. No power, no power at all. The engine misfires and the cars rumbles and moves slowly. The engine light began to flash and a "funky" smell arose. It was dark so I'm not sure if there had been any smoke at the time. I pulled back into friends driveway, checked under the hood, all seemed OK. I got back in and just said, "Just get home."
I changed the spark plugs with no luck, still had a few cylinders not firing properly.
After about a week I got a used Coil Pack out of a Focus in a junkyard. I pulled the old one out of my car, and it was cracked so bad and looked as if it exploded. I placed the new one in, and the thing loved it. The car came back to life, all power was restored!
