Focus 2.3L

A couple of years after I had the cars the tires started to lose air. The tire shop said it was because of corrosion along the rim and they saw it often with aluminium alloy wheels. Their solution was to take the tires off and put tire seal along the rim. This is not a long term fix as the car constantly loses air with both my regular tires as well as my snow tires. I now have to check my tires once a week. The tires leak slowly regardless if the car is sitting in the driveway or I drive it. I have been told that eventually the corrosion will get so bad the wheels will have to be replaced.
