Bought the car in April 2013 and nothing but stink since. Had the carpet cleaned 3 times and still the smell persists.Checked other online sources only to find its not only my Ford Focus but others have the same problem. Its a very bad smell like something died especially after it rains. Apparently to get to the a/c core you have to take out the dash !! Seems like like I'm in for some nightmares before this is solved any Ideas ?? I searched ford focus bad smell got some idea but ford never heard of the problem. Surprise !!! But they were nice enough to inform me it would cost about $700 to remove the dash to get to a/c core. Any ideas if you had this problem to let us know how you solved it. Thank You
