I have had problems with the auto transmission since new (jerking and shivering when shifting from 1st to 2nd gear). I've had the clutch replaced and the TCM reprogrammed several times and there is still intermittent problems with the transmission shifting. Now, I've been told that the "novel" two piece lug nuts are swelling and should be replaced, since this swelling causes the nuts to become very hard to remove. My Ford dealer told me they have aftermarket lugs (about $60) that don't have a swelling problem. I asked them why they don't replace them with a Ford part, and they told me the replacement parts are the same two park lugs and I may end up with the same problem a little time down the road!! Come on Ford, you can do better than this!
Update from Apr 15, 2022: I’m still having intermittent transmission shivering but my dealer wants to continue diagnosing the cause. A mechanic took a ride with me driving and stated that the level of transmission shivering shifting fro. first to second may not be able to be completely eliminated. I don’t think this is acceptable. I replaced the wheel lug nuts myself for about $60.
