Ford TSB #TSB 17-2063
2016 Ford Focus
TSB Document:
Affected Component: ELECTRICAL SYSTEM: INSTRUMENT CLUSTER/PANEL
- Summary
- Some 2016-2017 Focus RS vehicles built on or before 03-Apr-2017 may exhibit an Unable to Change Drive Mode message in the instrument panel cluster (IPC) and/or an illuminated malfunction indicator lamp (MIL) with DTC P26FE stored in the powertrain control module (PCM) memory. This may be due to a sticking exhaust valve when the temperature is below freezing. Reprogram the PCM to the latest calibration using IDS release 104.05 or higher. Make sure you are connected to the internet when entering module programming to obtain the latest updates. Calibration files may also be obtained at www.motorcraftservice.com
