Ford TSB #SSM 47528
2017 Ford Focus
TSB Document:
Affected Component: ELECTRICAL SYSTEM
- Summary
- Some 2012-2018 Focus BEV vehicles may exhibit DTC U0130 in the battery electric control module (BECM) after replacement of the high voltage (HV) battery pack. In order to correct the condition, perform a programmable module installation (PMI) using the appropriate Ford scan tool. This action will initiate a coordinated flash of powertrain control module (PCM) and transmission control module (TCM) for HV battery compatibility. The use of a previous session may also cause DTC U1030 to be present in the BECM. For additional information refer to 2015 or newer Workshop Manual (WSM), Section 414-03A
