CarComplaints.com Notes: Power steering problems started rearing their ugly head in the 2010 Fusion, so you'd think Ford had plenty of time to make sure those problems didn't creep into the 2012. But here we are.

The Electronic Power Assist Steering (EPAS) is a mess. It fails at an alarming rate. Don’t believe us? Take a look at NHTSA’s data on the subject.

And much like the power steering, we’re still seeing the same throttle body failures that started in 2010 continue in 2012.

The problem appeared when I went for yearly inspection - they informed me that in my right rear wheel there is no brake. Then I took it to authorize service agency here in Yanbu where they changed the master cylinder, then the booster and at last concluded a hydraulic control unit is faulty.

But still the problem is not fixed. I didn't know if it didn't work then they go on saying next and next... god help me.

I have a ford fusion 2012 and never had a major problem until now. I went to ford for a simple oil change and overall summer checkout. I knew I needed back brakes but to find out that I needed brakes and rotors, master cylinder, tune up, After all this then to find out it wasn't the master cylinder needed but a ABS pump that has failed on all 2009-2012 cars without it being a major recall on this part. Ford need to be ashamed of themselves for this. I guest there waiting on a Major accident with death involved before they do something. Inform customer before they buy that this will fail so extend your warrantee. I am soooo Pissst I loved fords until now I had a Ford Taurus before this. I keep my car well and in perfect condition, no accidents or damage at all. I don't need my car to fail and drain my pockets with out rages labor cost. The parts are not expensive its the out of control labor these companies charge to fix a car. they are deceiving the patron my disclosing this information. If consumers knew of this problem Ford sale would be down! I need for to step up and honor the commitment to us the consumers with honesty. We put our life in there hands by driving theses cars, they should be safe and not faulty or costly!!!!! I want them to reinverse me for the inconvenience and the dent it put in my wallet to fix there LEMON!!!I BROUGHT THREE PEOPLE TO FORD AND THEY PURCHASED. I WILL NEVER EVER BUY ANOTHER AND WILL NEVER ENDORCE THEM. STEVE HARVEY NEED TO STOP ENDORSING FORD. THERE PUTTING FAMILIES AT RISK OF HARM AND OR DEATH!
