CarComplaints.com Notes: The 2013-2014 Honda Accord is showing signs of an electrical problem with the starter failing soon after the 36K mile warranty expires. It's compounded by reports that the OEM battery doesn't have sufficient amps to start the V6 reliably after a year or two.

For now we are rating this problem with the "Beware" seal because it's occurring so soon after the 36K mile warranty expires. The upshot is when your Accord won't start, that's never good, but especially bad when it's just a few years old.

Also once again, owners are complaining that the 2014 Honda Accord seats are uncomfortable. Uncomfortable seats has been a significant complaint with the Accord since the 2008 model year.

Goodyear assurance fuel max tires with 41,000 miles on a 2014 Honda Accord have pieces of rubber coming out of them. The balancing and alignment are fine and air pressure is at 33 psi. Tires are rotated at every service, approximately 5,000 miles. I have tried to send pictures to Goodyear headquarters and they refuse to allow me to do so. They only accept the word of the authorized dealer who stated it is a result of driving on gravel roads, which has never taken place. They were willing to do a partial wear adjustment, but they will not go the 50% as stated in the written warranty.

While driving on freeway, a low rumbling sound suddenly heard and in a blink saw a tire rolling in rear view mirror. A few second later flat tire warning sign came up. This all happened with 10 seconds time. I took immediate exit and park on side and found a rear tire was ripped off with about 2,3 inches left on wheel. The car was purchased new 7 months ago and was about 7500 miles at time of accident. Before the incident, all tires and car have not have any issue. At incident, traffic is light, clear weather 2 pm, road condition is great. I took wheel with rim of remnant of tire to nearby Goodyear dealer and was told I could not claim warranty without the whole tire with me. The tire is Goodyear Eagle LS2 235/45/R18.

While driving on freeway in light traffic and good road condition, heard a short rumbling sound and then saw tire rolling out from rear mirror. A few second later tire pressure warning sign shown. This happened all within 10 seconds. Since located just near exit, I drove off and parked on side. I found one rear tire was completely rip off. There had been no any sign of tire issue before. Car is a few months new and tire comes with new car purchase just about 7500 miles. Brought car to Goodyear tire store for warranty work and was told I must bring tire to claim warranty. Wheel with remnant of tire won't be enough.

Tire pressure light constantly goes off. I go to Honda everytime. Never seem to be able to fix the issue. I've been told that some sensors don't work but they still haven't fixed it.

Hit a small pothole at less than 10 mph approaching interstate highway and then tire massive failure almost immediately when speeding up to 70 mph nearly causing fire. Have driven 50 years and hit many potholes without this type of catastrophic failure.
