This problems particularly the RDMS (Road Departure Mitigation System, CMBS CCollision Mitigation Brake System), LKAS (Lane Keeping Assist System), and ACC (Adoptive Cruise Control) had been in existence since the early part that Honda added this features in their vehicle as can be seen in the complaint page of every site. I am a Toyota Car Guy, for that I made a mistake of trying a Honda with this features. At 66t plus miles, these problems with the above systems started to show up intermittently. My car is less than 5 years old and I have an extended warranty (8 years in total) for which I paid a fortune in my case. However, when I brought the car to my Honda dealer to have it fixed, the dealer was telling me that there was an accident that was affecting the computer and the cost to repair is $3,500 and that I should contact my insurance as it was a covered accident, as they say.

Now, that's not the right thing to happen, the computer that control these things are well hidden inside the engine bay of the car and I had no accident, maybe, the same is true with the other Honda car owners that's experiencing this problem. Passing the problem to the insurance company will cost extra expense to the car owners in this case, like, for example, in my case, my deductible is $1,000. Why the heck should I pay for extended warranty and not be covered by it and then spent more money for my deductible.

I've been researching this problem for a few days, and found out that the only case filed with regard to this problem of Honda Sensing is for Honda CRV. Maybe, it's about time that Honda Accord owners should fix this problem by bounding together so that somebody will notice this problem and have it fix (Like the government agency or law offices for filing a class action suit). Just saying. Have a good day everybody.

Update from Oct 12, 2020: I forgot to mention that my Honda had also experienced the abrupt stopping even when there was nothing in the road.

A Honda dealership performed an oil change on my car Thursday evening, April 25, 2019. After I left, about 30 minutes later, my dash warning lights came on with 4 indicators all at once: ABS, TPMS, Electric Power Steering, and Traction Control shut off. All lights stayed on overnight. I tool it back to the dealership the very next morning on my way to work. They tried to charge me $65 to do a diagnostic. I refused as they touched my car last and now this issue. (We had issues the day prior as well with the oil change as they tried to lie and say they didn't shove an oversized bolt into my oil pan stripping the threads).

Now the tech states, we would not have touched anything during your oil change that would trigger those dash warnings. (Well, they also lied about checking my tires during my inspection because they marked them all yellow, while I just put two rear tires on brand new 3 weeks ago). Anyway, I told them I was filing a suit against them once I get another dealership to assess the problem. The issue is, I know something is wrong since they touched it last. The dash warning lights go off and come back on randomly.

I have read forums and people have said that replacing the battery worked to fix their issue as the sensors weren't getting enough power to operate correctly. ( During the oil change they supposedly do a battery inspection as well...this makes me think they messed something up during that process). Either way, I am not sure if this car is safe to drive because apparently my cars electrical system cannot function my ABS, TPMS, Power Steering or Traction Control properly. The car is confused and misreading the safety features.

Anyone have any advice as to what the problem could be? Thanks!
