I have a problem with my Honda CRV '07 differential. I had problems early but when I went to dealer they told me they found nothing. I again took it again and again finally was told the differential fluid needed changed, it fixed the problem temporarily.

I am concerned about what problems and how long will can I continue to drive this till it just stops. What happens if it goes completely out? I hope Honda will help me out with this problem, but I have heard from others that Honda wont help. The dealerships just covers up this problem any way they can. If anyone has a suggestions please contact me. Thanks Carolyn

Third time in three years for same problem. My suggestion that the part should be replaced instead of just changing the fluid was met with a very blank stare and a repeat of the same line of bull " this should do it this time ". Should it happen again, it's lemon law time. There WAS a service bulletin in 2007! Oh I almost forgot. They can take Honda vehicles and shove them where the rising sun doesn't shine ! BY AMERICAN.

big noise heard while turning the wheels. went to Honda dealer. they say nothing wrong 4 months latter I return saying that I can hardly make a 90 degree turn big noise! they put $60. worth of oil in and said it is fine. BUT what I experienced and I took careful attention to investigate the problem. I was doing 9-10 L/100 km on hwy and 11L/100Km in the city before they added the oil .Now there is a drastic change in mileage It changed to almost double. I took it to the Honda dealer again . They claimed that there is nothing wrong .It is the way I drive! I am driving the same way now as I did a month ago! I haven't changed to my winter tires yet that was another excuse they gave. THey kept my car for 24 hours only to tell me there is nothing wrong and if there is a red light will go on! now it cost me almost double the amount of gas!!! Very Frustrated. Male mechanics are condescending to women!

This was very annoying, especially with a "new" vehicle. However, it appears that the dealer fixed the problem with one visit.
