March of 2007 I purchased a new CRV LX. Loaded the car for a 3 month trip. Wore out the Bridgstone Duellers within 20.000kms(12000) miles.Tires were worn on the inside and scalloped. Since that trip I have put a total of 151,000kms on the vehicle and in Nov. of 2010 I put on my 5th set of tires. 2 sets of Bridgeston Duellers. 1 set of Kellys, 1 set of Goodyear Assurance and the last is a set of Hancooks. All tires became noisy as a result of scalloping. Balancing, rotating and alignment had no effect on correction. Honda in 2007 replaced the rear struts which that gave the vehicle a higher ride with no effect. No one at Honda could give me an explanation as to why this was happening except that I was carrying too much weight. I did have the car weighed on highway scales and was within the listed weights. Apparently I am the only person to ever have this problem according to Honda. My wife and I love the vehicle but would hesitate to purchase another CRV without having this problem corrected. I have put up with this problem this long because we really like the vehicle and just this minute decided to see if anyone else has experienced the same or similar problem.
