CarComplaints.com Notes: The 2014 Honda CR-V has a trend of engine hesitation when accelerating.

Honda has tried to fix this delayed acceleration with a software update, but many owners report it didn't fix the problem.

This defect trend is not quite bad enough yet for us to slap on the "Beware of the Clunker" seal. But it's a concern & definitely something to keep in mind for a test drive.

This second time I'm taking to the dealer. Car still floating and pulling to the left. Mostly noticeable at highway speeds. Adviser took for test and said everything is normal. Next day going to work, the problem is still there nothing was done.

Fifth time at dealer with steering problem. Contacted customer service was told to drop car off again, yet another wheel check and alignment. I took adviser and technician for road test and showed them my concerns, how car moved across two lanes of traffic in 2 or 3 seconds constant pull to the left spring loaded steering wheel that does not like to be turned to the right. Tech told me wheel center was off and he saw the veering to the left. They did another wheel alignment. I still see the wheel center is off a tiny bit and little or no improvement about drifting to the left or hard to turn wheel.

Fourth time at dealer for steering problem, I tried a new dealer to see if they might find issues with pulling and stiff wheel, mostly at highway speeds. They were not able to go on highway, only back roads and did not find any problems. But did inform me to call customer service to further pursue this matter, something my dealer never made me aware of. Car still pulls to the left and hard to turn wheel.

Third time at dealer for steering issue, still pulls to the left side wheel is stiff and has no assist that can be felt, steering wheel feels heavy to move to adjust the pull to keep car in lane. When letting go of the wheel, car will drift across all lanes within 3 seconds, on windy days it floats from side to side, making it a two handed operation to keep in the lane.

Seventh time at dealer for steering problems. Went for ride with regional manager, showed him and service manager the pulling and drifting and spring loaded steering wheel . He drove it on the highway and did some parking lot circles. They told me that's how they all steer and nothing is wrong with it. Maybe I should upgrade to ELX model instead. The cars are made to drift to the left because most people drive in the right lane and because the crown of the road.

I never drove a car that pulled to the right or left unless it needed an alignment or new parts on the front end. Now they were done with me and nothing more they can do.This car has given me carpal tunnel in my left arm. I can't believe I bought a car that is not allowed on the highway in the left lane and not on windy days. I never thought I would regret buying a Honda

Just got my 2014 CRV. Driving on the highway to work and the steering seems loose or sloppy. Very hard to keep in the lane. Car follows the road not the steering wheel. Needs constant wheel correction to keep car in center of lane. Moving wheel slightly to the right to adjust drift makes car veer to the left and after adjusting car veers to the right. No going straight, just constant adjustment. Took to dealer following week to install remote starter and had them look at the steering issue. They said they adjusted alignment and my wheel center was off and they re-centered the wheel.

I test drove the CRV just around the corner. Considering I was coming out of a 2011 CRV and LOVED it, I was just checking for blind spots AND it was 5 degrees out in Buffalo, NY When I picked the car up after signing the finance paperwork and drove it home on the highway, I noticed it was pulling to the left. I called the dealership first thing next morning and dropped it off that afternoon. When I arrived to pick the vehicle up, they said they found NOTHING wrong with it. When I asked if they took it for a test drive, they said they couldn't spare the manpower for highway driving and that it was so new it needed to be "broken in" to come back after I had driven it some more. What a lousy answer! I want to love my car, but the dealership is making it impossible
