everytime i start my car i have to hold the gas and the brake at the same time.... and its gets really really annoying. What would be the best way to fix this little problem of mine??? HELP ME!!!

I rebuilt the engine after a crank bearing seized up but then I loaned it to someone who "promised to buy." After I took it back, it had developed this problem. Could it be the on-board computer?
