CarComplaints.com Notes: So far the 2011 Elantra doesn't have the same volume of transmission problems that 2010 owners are fighting with. It also doesn't have the same pattern of steering and braking complaints that are piling up with the 2013 model year.

We're not saying the 2011 is perfect -- I mean, what were they thinking advertising their MPGs -- but there are worse choices.

I've been having issues with my 2011 Hyundai Elantra since the 1st year I got this car, I've had paint issue problems, check engine light problems which is still on till this day. and now my cars stability control lights goes on all the time and when this happens the rpms go haywire!!! The car goes down to 40 miles per hour and never gains speed again!!! I almost got into accidents because of this issue that the dealership cant fix!!! It is unpredictable when the light is gonna come on again and do the same thing again. I had this problem not even an year when I got my car. My car would jerk and seemed to loose speed even when it was brand new. but again the dealership couldn't find anything wrong with it or just didn't even bother to look into fixing it. They were so lazy and rude at that place!!! Even till this day!! I'm just tired of dealing with this crap!!
