Altima owners report that up to a basketball-size hole develops under the floor mats where the floor pan metal rusts through. Average repair cost is over $1,000.

NISSAN'S ARE P.O.S's. now when i start my car it makes this loud groan(either from the engine or muffler) man this car is a lemon. Nevada lemon law to my knowledge is that after one month i can't go under lemon law. So my mom had it for the first two years and it was no problem for her she just didn't like it. So after saving money for a new car (i used to have a 2002 Pontiac grand am that was getting worn out) my mom says hey u can have my car so i said yeah because it only had 7500 miles. When she gave it to me i was happy to basically have an almost new car. This is were the problems kick in.

first the interior door molding were falling off got those fixed(free). Then the fuel pump failed and made something else fail($520.00).1st Time ECM Recall(free). Brakes ($425.54).2nd time ECM recall (real price $1400)(Crazy Mom) (free). Now AC Hose (not fixed) CD Player (not fixed) . And now this F*cking engine or muffler noise!!! You got to be kidding me!!! Now I'm driving my step dad's 2007 Nissan Tittan. Good truck never had problems. So until i get a new car the 2005 Altima is in the garage!!!
