CarComplaints.com Notes: The 2015 Nissan Altima shows multiple problem trends, continuing the poor reputation of the 2013 & 2014 Altima, prompting us to give it our "Beware of the Clunker" badge.
Talked to the Nissan dealer and he said this was the first he had heard of this problem. Offered to leave the car overnight at the dealer to see if it could be diagnosed, but it happens infrequently. I have seen similar problems posted on the internet, so I know it is not only my car that has this problem.
Sometimes, the car alarm will sound / lights flash either by manually pressing the button on the drivers door (with key fob in pocket) or using either one of my factory key fobs unlock buttons. By pressing the fobs unlock button again or pressing the door button again, will disable the alarm and open the door. It is very annoying, especially in the early morning or in public places. If I press the Lock button on the key fob, and then the Unlock button, the problem occurs less. It has happened about ten times so far, but spread out over months of driving.
