The car caught on fire and has been designated a total loss by my insurance company. Now Nissan wants to do their inspection and I hope they replace this car with a new car and I don't want another Altima.

Altima

  • Manual transmission
  • 22,200 miles

2nd time this has happened, however this was while driving 70+ MPH on the Highway. Car simply turns off, engine and electrical, and "comes back to life" in 2-5 seconds. Scary as hell this time, power steering loss is scary at 70+ MPH!!
