The wheel bearings were fine one minute, then after a hard brake to avoid a crash, the humming starting. Cars are supposed to withstand a hard braking without destroying the wheel bearing. That this happened just outside the warranty on a <3-year-old car is just outstanding. Cheap, cheap, cheap parts.
