While the truck was parked for about 2 hours and everything was off, an electrical fire started in dash area. Police department and fire department were contacted about the fire.
Electrical dash fire totalled vehicle. Tt consumer's insurance rep wrote in stating their expert's opinion is that the fire started in the wiring harness, however Nissan is currently investigating.
