My CD player crapped out on me too!

It ate all 6 discs and I haven't been able to get them out yet.

Nissan says they have to send the unit off to Japan to have it fixed, but they won't guarantee that I will ever get the discs back.

Any Ideas how to get the CD's out?

Pathfinder SE 3.5L V6

  • Automatic transmission
  • 15,000 miles

... never had a problem with O2 sensor on my pathfinder when I owned it, even after 91,000 miles. However, I did have a problem with the Bose 6CD changer in my car. The unit would "eat" my cd's. The system would play them fine for a little while, but then the songs would begin skipping, eventually generating an error code on the display, and eventually damaging all the disks in the unit. Nissan happily replaced the unit about 1/2 a dozen times before I said that enough was enough (even after the warranty expired on the stereo). I simply replaced it with a unit of my own (after market) and that was the end of that.! ;)
