Nissan recalled the 2.5 liter engines with the same issue. My 3.5 liter engine power valve screws came out and dropped a butterfly valve from the intake into the cylinder destroying the engine. Well known issue - never resolved in the 3.5 engine - even after class action suit in Cali - didn't help me in MN. Nissan USA says to bad, after 100k anything can happen. Particularly if you let Nissan bend you over.
