Summary
IF YOU CONFIRM The customer reports or the technician confirms all of the following: - The message "Parking Sensor Error" is displayed in the vehicle's meter after cranking or starting the engine. - Only occurs after a vehicle has been cold soaked for several hours at an outside temperatures of -15°C (5°F) or below. - Does not display after the vehicle warms up and the ignition has been cycled. ACTION Refer to the ESM, section SN-Sonar System, for replacement information. NOTE - The replacement Sonar Control Unit will need to be configured. Refer to INSPECTION AND ADJUSTMENT > ADDITIONAL SERVICE WHEN REPLACING SONAR CONTROL UNIT before removing the unit. See this bulletin for further detail.
