The vehicle was taken to the dealer, who informed the contact that the vehicle was functioning properly and was not able to diagnose a failure. The vehicle had not been repaired. The manufacturer was not made aware of the failure. The failure mileage was 75,000.
The contact owned a 2019 Nissan Pathfinder. The contact stated that her vehicle was rear ended by another vehicle travelling at 60 mph. The crash caused her seatbelt to unlatch. The contact was able to brace herself but her spine was injured and shifted. The contact was not transported by an ambulance but went to urgent care that same day and then went to another doctor for more xrays. The contact was unsure if the other driver was injured. A police report was filed and the vehicle was towed to a body shop and was deemed totaled. The dealer and manufacturer had not been contacted yet. The failure mileage was 6,800.
