THE VEHICLE ALARM SOUNDS WHEN UNLOCKING AND/OR
OPENING THE DOORS WITH THE INTELLIGENT KEY
IF YOU CONFIRM
The customer states that the vehicle security system (alarm) may inadvertently sound when
unlocking and/or opening any of the vehicle's doors with the Intelligent Key.
ACTION
1. Confirm the current BCM hardware part number.
HINT: This number is the hardware number on the outside of the BCM, and can also
be found with C-III plus.
2. If the current hardware part number is 284B1-6TA0E, replace the BCM with the part
listed in the PARTS INFORMATION.
HINT: If the current part number is not 284B1-6TA0E, this bulletin does not apply.
