Because many owners commonly drive 20,000 miles/year or more, Sentra owners experiencing CVT transmission problems may find they are not covered by this settlement due to the mileage limitation.

Daughter described pushing break to the bottom /or floor boards while the car slowly began to slow. Yes, the vehicle is currently available for inspection. An impact occurred to daughter which caused bruising and duress. Another vehicle was struck. No, the problem has not been confirmed by a dealer or independent service ctr. No. None that my daughter reported. I had driven the vehicle a few days prior and noticed nothing unusual upon breaking.
2014 Nissan Sentra -My abs system light came on failed inspection and had to be replaced. I had 32,322 miles on my car. I am 73 years old and for me to pay out over $1000,00 for a part that should not have failed according to the three certified mechanics. The light appeared the day I took it in to get my inspection sticker. This is so disheartening, to say the least. other models have been recalled...my mechanic said it would be dangerous to drive it...I contacted Nissan and all they could say was it's not under warranty and they have no recalls on my year. if you could help or direct me how to get help I would greatly appreciate
I am owner of a 2014 Nissan centra. I started getting problems with my brakes. I notoced that when I press on the brakes, the petals go all the way to the floor. My car only has 50,000 miles. I took it for an inspection to my personal mechanic and they replaced the master cylinder twice and I still have the same problem. Does anybody know if there is a recall for this kind of problem for this car. The problem happens anytime, either with the car on, in motion or not in motion.
On 7 occasions over the last month all 4 brakes lock up on the car after 20-30 minutes of warning up in normal traffic. After a period of 2 to 4 hours leaving the car parked and off, the brakes right themself. The Nissan dealer charged me $150 and said they can not figure it out.
As I was driving or turning, car would hesitate, speed would drop even though foot still on accelerator. Turns out had moisture in driver's brake light which caused car switch to brake thereby causing jerking hesitation. Dangerous because even though car slowed down, brake lights not lit, dangerous to drivers behind me. Light replaced due to seal allowing moisture in.

"takata recall" my check engine light keeps coming on and off. I've had the sensor replaced once for over $350 two years ago. However, now the check engine light has reappeared and went off twice in the past 30 day. I've kept up with maintenance since my initial purchase of the vehicle. Firestone asked me to check with the Nissan dealerships to find out if the mass air flow is covered under some sort of warranty before I pay them to perform anything because they see this issue occurring in many Nissan they've performed on.
The contact owns a 2014 Nissan Sentra. While driving 40 mph, he brake pedal was depressed and traveled to the floor without warning. The vehicle was taken to an independent mechanic who stated that the master cylinder needed to be replaced. The vehicle was taken to West side Nissan (1729 cassat ave, jacksonville, fl 32210), but the failure could not be duplicated. The vehicle was not diagnosed or repaired. The manufacturer was notified of the issue and did not assist. The failure mileage was 60,000.
The contact owns a 2014 Nissan Sentra. While driving approximately 2 mph, the brakes failed when the brake pedal was depressed. The failure occurred without warning. The vehicle was taken to thoroughbred Nissan (5163 E 22nd St, tucson AZ), but the failure could not be replicated. The manufacturer was contacted and offered no assistance. The failure mileage was 27,900.
Extra braking required to come to a stop - this is an intermittent issue but similar to the issue reported for the 2013 versa. The braking required most times to come to a stop from a uniform speed can vary at times so that significantly more effort to stop the vehicle is needed. Example, on my neighbourhood street, approaching the stop sign at 25mph, normally very little braking needs to be applied. At times, we have noticed that a lot more effort is needed to stop the vehicle even at such a low speed. This incident has occurred several times in the 2 months since we've bought the car and would lead to a crash if the braking system does not respond in a uniform way.
The contact owns a 2014 Nissan Sentra. While driving approximately 10 mph, the brake pedal was depressed and failed to stop the vehicle. As a result, the contact crashed into a guardrail, a pole, and another vehicle. The air bags failed to deploy. The contact sustained injuries to the shoulder and back that did not require medical attention. A police report was not filed. The vehicle was towed to the contact's residence. The vehicle was not diagnosed or repaired. The manufacturer was notified of the failure. The failure mileage was 40,000.
Airbag passenger light comes on randomly and stays on from seconds to minutes. At times the passenger seatbelt light comes on also. In addition, had brakes inspected by dealer only had the car 3 months dealer states the brakes are fine but they keep making noise. Car max did not mention any recalls to me on air bags car has 18,700 miles
Brakes are very weak for being a light weight vehicle. Stopping power is very underwhelming. Coming to a complete stop even after cruising speeds makes me feel anxious...my vehicle only has 10,066 miles on the odometer but the braking power feels very underwhelming for a fairly new low mileage vehicle.
Four months after purchase of this vehicle, the brakes go to the floor as if bleeding an old brake system. This happens when car is in reverse or going forward. I have to pump the brake several times to rise the petal up. Brake pressure is always low having to press almost to the floor to stop.
The contact owns a 2014 Nissan Sentra. While driving approximately 40 mph attempting to stop at a traffic light, the brake system failed to respond. The contact switched lanes to avoid striking the preceding vehicle and was rear ended by another vehicle, which pushed the contact's vehicle into oncoming traffic. The vehicle had to be towed to a body shop. The vehicle was picked up after one month and driven to the dealer. The technician was unable to duplicate the failure. The vehicle was not repaired. The manufacturer was not notified of the failure. The approximate failure mileage was 5,000.
Brakes made horrible groaning noise as I pushed down on the pedal. Vehicle failed to stop in an adequate manner, thus propelling me into the road where I was hit by an oncoming vehicle.
