Premature Rear Disc Pad Wear - I do my own repairs and found out if the metal plates on the disc brake pads are filed down a bit and the stainless steel pad guides are lubricated with caliper grease the problem is less severe. I feel Toyota should repair this issue for free after the warranty period but they really don't care after the sale...
Can't keep rear brakes more than 8 months on the car. Use dealer parts no different. Doesn't matter what place replaces the parts, still need replacing 8 months later. Wish Toyota would step up and do something about this car.
