Intermittently when the brakes are applied or the vehicle hits a bump in a road ABS system kicks in, resulting in extended stopping distance which caused a minor collision. Dealer has inspeced the vehicle, and manufacturer has been notified.
While driving the ABS light keeps coming on. Vehicle was taken to the dealer, and the dealer will fix the problem at a cost.please prvide any futher information.
When applying brakes, the pedal went to the floor, causing a loud thumping noise, which resulted in sliding / skidding. Dealer has seen vehicle, and said it was normal.
ABS system is working intermittently and there is vibration within the steering wheel. When consumer is driving and hits any type of bump within the road, the brakes fail, and there is some type of electronic noise coming from the brakes.
1. major brake problems since car was new. Poor stopping power, occasional brake fad, major force required on brake pedal. Three sets of front brake pads replaced within 38,000 miles. Front calipers and rotors replaced under warranty at 13,000 miles. Front left brake hose replaced under warranty at 33,000 miles due to rupture while braking. Dealers and Chevrolet have claimed that there is no problem. There is without a doubt a manufacturing /design defect with the brake system on this vehicle.
When driving at any speed and applying brakes the ABS system is kicking in and working intermittently. Also, windshield wipers are working intermittently, and sometime's won't work at all.
When brakes were applied in a panic stop under normal conditions the pedal went to the floor, causing extended stopping distance which resulted in a collision. Driver sustained minor injuries. Dealer and manufcturer have been notified.
The weather was rainy & the roads wet, had applied the brakes & the vehicle had skidded forward before coming to a stop. The ABS brakes failesd to stop vehicle properly. Brakes felt like a suction before stopping. Taking vehicle to dealer.
Was traveling 50mph when the ABS brakes failed while operating in 2wd mode. It's a 4WD vehicle. Would have to keep distance of few car lengths. Been to dealers & had them replaced 5 times. Mechanic could not solve the braking problem.
Consumer was driving at 45 mph and applied the brakes, the brakes jumped three times, and brake pedal went straight to the floorboard. ABS system kicked in and locked up.
