CarComplaints.com Notes: You should probably steer clear of the 2012 Focus. Otherwise, you might not be able to steer at all.

The 2012 is the first Focus to offer Electronic Power Assist Steering (EPAS). It's also the first year with massive power steering failure. These things are not mutually exclusive.

And while you wait for your steering to disappear, you'll be greeted with a transmission that shudders, vibrates or won't shift at all.

This problem occur last fall I had it looked at service, they could not find anything wrong. Light went and I had to start using high beam to continue to have two headlight. When I took car to been inspected lights did not work I had to paid a $200.00 ticket. This car has so many issues that started before this issue not fair when you call the complaint line and no one calls back unless you have to threaten do report. I refuse to be rude, but would like to know my car looks good with the exception of not working properly.
