And much like the power steering, we’re still seeing the same throttle body failures that started in 2010 continue in 2012.

Started my car yesterday and got a "Power Steering Assist Failure" error. Second time in 3 years I have gotten this error. Results in no power steering and can occur at any time. Luckily, I was in park when it happened and not driving. Ford issued a recall on only certain models of Fusions when they should have recalled ALL of them. They're "Advancetrac" system does NOT store error messages, so taking it to a dealership is a pointless and very expensive process as they will simply throw around random, costly "fixes." This is a serious safety issue that needs to be addressed immediately. Again.

In 2019 my power steering failed on my 2012 Ford Fusion. I had if fixed because I was not part of the recall for power steering. Well on August 2nd 2022 it has failed again. And needs replacing again.

Power steering went out randomly. I have tried to reset by turning vehicle on and off. There is a recall for the 2012 Ford Fusion...however my vehicle is not included for some reason is having exact same issue as recall for steering dating back to 2015. Took to dealer. They said my power steering was out and would be over 3,000$ to fix.
Dealership said they reset power steering, it had a recall on it and now my power steering is completely out and they refuse to fix it for free when it is a recalled part. Obviously it wasn-€™t fixed.

While driving down the road power steering assist came on dash then lost all power to steering, and of course my car says no recalls, I-€™m stuck with a 17,000 dollar car I can-€™t fix but still have to finish paying for, I new better then to buy a [XXX] ford too.
