Last night while trying to parallel park my 2007 CRV it suddenly accelerated and slammed into the car in back of me. I had just tapped on the pedal in reverse because it was a tight spot when it bolted backwards causing massive damage to the other vehicle and pushing it into the street. This happened 2 weeks ago when I was stopped at a red light and tapped the gas to go on green when it suddenly accelerated into the car in front of me, causing damage the back end of that vehicle. I have had this vehicle since 2007 with no problems before and NO accidents. In just two weeks I have not been able to explain these occurances. This is NOT a mat issue or the wrong pedal used. I can't trust it anymore plus the damage to other vehicles is driving my insurance up so it has to go. I am so disappointed because it has been such a good dependable vehicle up til now.

CR-V EX-L V6

I have had two accidents in two weeks with my 2007 CRV suddenly accelerating from a complete stop. The first was after being at a complete stop at a red light. I touched the pedal when the light turned green and the vehicle bolted into the car in front of me. I had no explaination, it just took off at full throttle. It was not an issue of the car mat or using the wrong pedal. Again last night I was backing up into a parking spot and the vehicle suddenly acceletrated and hitting the car behind me so hard it pushed it into the street with a lot of front end damage. Again I had no explaination for the car doing that. I have owned this vehicle since 2007 and never had any problems or accidents. In fact I convinced several relatives to buy CRV's also, I thought they were awesome! But I am truly scared to drive it now.
