This time the front passenger door handle broke off, 10,000 miles after my driver door handle. Geez, Nissan, get better door handles. Fixed it myself, not that hard.

Driver door handle broke off, its plastic, so after the years of use it just snapped off. I bought a replacement handle and swapped it myself for $30 off amazon. Probably $100-$150 at a mechanic... super annoying.

So now 3 out of 4 door handles have broken off my Nissan Altima. This is ridiculous and Nissan says NADA. I reach to open the door and it just comes off in my hand.

The passenger door handle came off in my daughter's hand first. She thought she was Super Woman until we looked and it literally had broken off in her hand. About two months later, the rear passenger door handle came off, same exact thing, broke off in my hand. What the heck? What happens when I have no door handles left? This is not exactly the easiest thing to fix and there is no workaround. From what I see on social sites, this has to be an issue for this model, why no recalls?

Three of the four handles have broken under normal use. Seems to me there should be a recall.

2 of the 4 door handles just broke off upon opening of the doors. This is a major defect and Nissan needs to repair these!

3 out of the 4 door handles have broken off on my 2004 Nissan Altima. The first happened two years ago, and the other two followed not to long after.

I've seen many other Altima's out there with broken handles. There is no doubt there is a defect with them and they need to issue a recall.

I say we all work together and sign a petition or some kind of document and send to the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration agency. They have the power to force them to issue a recall.

Who's with me???
