I have a 2017 pearl white Nissan Altima. I noticed a yellowish spot on the trunk lid. It looked almost like a cigarette burn but I don't smoke. A week or so later, while putting groceries in my trunk, I noticed a second spot a bit lower. I tried rubbing it off and it became clear it was rust. It appears little flakes of paint are coming off and rust is starting. I don't know if this is covered. I bought the extended warranty. This is definitely a flaw in the paint. This vehicle has never been wrecked.
