According to the New York Times & a class action lawsuit, the defect actually extends through 2010 model year. More info here.
Bought the car from a small local dealer. Rolling the driver's window down after about 10 days and the window would not go back up right away. Kept trying and it finally went up. Not good when you can't rely on something to work.
