CarComplaints.com Notes: There's an emerging trend of transmission problem with the 2010 Elantra at fairly early mileage.

So far owners report having the transmission replaced under warranty but that won't hold up for much longer. It may be a bit premature but for now we're putting the "CLUNKER" rating on the 2010 Elantra just to be safe.

Speaking of being safe, you might not be unless Hyundai can figure out why their airbags aren't deploying.

I bought 4 Michelin tires on 11/02/2012. A 90,000 mile tire. < 40,000 miles 2 of the 4 tires have unexplained wearing and 1 tire has a bubble. Michelin defender xt 195/65R15 (green X)90,000 mile wear. The car and tires are serviced on a regular basis.

Tire blew into shred's causing vehicle to hit curb and me trying to swerve to avoid it couldn't turn the wheel fast enough $10,100 later in damages at my own insurance cost a hurt shoulder that I can't do anything about.
