Excessive Vibration Due To Snow Buildup
2007 Chevrolet Cobalt
This problem may be covered under warranty. Ask your Chevrolet dealer.
CarComplaints.com Notes: The 2007 Cobalt inherited most of the problems from the 2005 and 2006 model years, but toned them down (a bit). Sure, the power steering still fails and the car has a chance of going up in flames due to a cracked fuel tank, but it’s not as prevalent as the older models. At least not yet.
In 2012, the Cobalt was recalled for gas tank fires but only for owners in certain states.
Then in 2014, the 2007 Cobalt was part of a massive GM recall due to a defective ignition switch that could cause the airbags to not deploy during an accident. The problem led to 13 deaths, government investigations and multiple class-action lawsuits.

its amazing that they would let such a pisspoor standard wheel design out on a car for a northeast climate dealer offers no solution this thing vibrates so bad you cant drive it over 40mph. ive spent a lot of days trying clean these out but it just freezes in, i cant believe in 2008 we haven't mastered the wheel design but G.M. has managed to screw this up royally so after 4,000 miles and half a winter driving season and only owning this car 2 months i want to give it back i was simply told "its an ongoing problem" well i have enough ongoing problems in my life and other hobbies besides keeping snow from building up on the inside of my wheels so if you live in snow country stay away from this car at any cost im just plain disgusted its my first new car in over a decade and after 2 months i miss my 93 dodge shadow !!!! good thing i own a ford truck its back to being my main mode of transportation even at $ 3.19 a gallon so there ... p.s. these are the stock steel wheels f.y.i.
