The contact owns a 2014 Nissan Altima. The contact stated while attempting to start the vehicle, the vehicle failed to start. The contact stated that she noticed that the display screen and instrument panel were blank. The contact stated that the vehicle was inoperable. The contact had taken the vehicle to a local dealer, where it was diagnosed and determined that the computer needed to be updated with new version software. The vehicle was repaired. The contact stated that the software update was only compatible with 3-G network not 5-G network. The manufacturer had been informed of the failure. The failure mileage was approximately 50,000.
