The contact owns a 2013 Ford Focus. While depressing the accelerator pedal, the vehicle jerked and hesitated to accelerate. The vehicle was taken to the local dealer (tallahassee Ford in tallahassee, fl) where it was diagnosed that the canister purge valve and air mass sensor were faulty and needed to be replaced. The vehicle was repaired, but the failure continued. The manufacturer was not notified of the failure. The VIN was unknown. The failure mileage was 75,000.
